Pack the Sack Is Back—Now with a Mini-Carnival!
Join Pinpoint Federal Credit Union for our 17th Annual Pack the Sack School Supply Giveaway and 2nd Annual Mini-Carnival on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.—or until supplies last!
This free community event helps students throughout Northumberland and Union counties start the school year feeling prepared and confident. Thanks to the generosity of Pinpoint FCU, our members, and local community partners, students can receive backpacks or lunch bags packed with school supplies and snacks at no cost.
This year, we’re making the celebration even bigger with a free mini-carnival featuring games, activities, and family fun! Bring the kids, enjoy the festivities, and help us send local students back to school with the tools—and encouragement—they need to succeed.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our members, employees, local businesses, and community partners, we raised more than $4,000 in 2026 to purchase school supplies, backpacks, lunch bags, and snacks for local students. Every donation helped ensure more children could begin the school year prepared and confident.
At Pinpoint, we believe strong students help build strong communities. Pack the Sack is one more way we’re proud to support local families and help every student find their path forward.

Admission is free, and school supplies will be distributed while quantities last. Food trucks, face painting, ring toss, corn hole, dunk tank, fun activities, and CSO mobile food bank on site. The branch will be closed for regular business during the event.

Our mission is simple: help local students begin the school year prepared, confident, and ready to learn! Students can choose from a variety of backpacks and lunch bags filled with free school supplies, including notebooks, folders, pencils, pens, and other classroom essentials.
Local businesses, like Cole's, help out for a great cause!

And there’s more! Each bag also includes a tasty snack to add a little extra fun to the first days of school. After picking up their supplies, families can stay and enjoy the games, activities, and excitement of our free mini-carnival.
